MOE's Black Illumination 2006 NL#12

Reporter : admin

Japan's Ministry of the Environment (MOE) held a nationwide "Lights Down" and CO2 reduction campaign named "Black Illumination 2006" from June 17 to 21. MOE lends official support to Candle Night. About 4000 facilities participated in the campaign. According to the MOE, this means that about 810,000 kilowatts of electricity was saved during the campaign. The Seoul Tower of South Korea joined the campaign for the first time in 2006. In addition, Japanese major landmarks such as the Tokyo Tower and the Kyoto Tower also joined.
